The following classifications of blood pressure are from the American Heart Association, and apply to adults 18 years
and older.
High blood pressure or hypertension is very often called the silent killer
because it usually has no symptoms.
Some people may not find out they have it until they have trouble with their heart,
brain, or kidneys. When high blood pressure is not found and treated, it can cause
serious problems:
The heart to get larger heart
failure
Small bulges to form in blood vessels
Blood vessels in the kidney to narrow kidney
failure
Arteries throughout the body to "harden" faster heart attack, stroke,
kidney failure
Blood vessels in the eyes to burst or bleed vision changes,
blindness
The symptoms arrive often in the case of elevated blood
pressure.
You may not think you have high blood pressure (as it is the silent killer). But
if you are experiencing any
of the early warning symptoms, please get your blood pressure checked
immediately:
morning headaches,
dizzines,
ringing in your ears,
nosebleeds,
flushing in your face,
tension
fainting
depression
blurred vision
and any discomfort.
I am sure you agree that a blood pressure monitor is a must have
equipment in every household. Please control your blood pressure ten times more
than once less.
